✦ HUD & ACTIONBAR ✦

The Stones Mod has a clear goal for the interface: Your keyboard should not be cluttered with countless new hotkeys for every single spell. All active magic of the Mod runs through exactly three keys, which you can configure On-The-Fly (OTF) in the inventory at any time.

The 3-Button Philosophy

Once you activate Milestone Runen in your Shrine, they provide you with active abilities. Assigning these abilities happens directly and without detours in your normal inventory.

✦ On-The-Fly Configuration (OTF)

[cite_start]You open your Survival Inventory and see three new ability slots to the right of your character [cite: 1509-1511]. [cite_start]By clicking on one of these slots, a dropdown menu opens, listing all currently active skills from your Shrine [cite: 1516-1517, 1531-1536]. [cite_start]One click is enough, and the skill is placed in the slot [cite: 1542-1543]. You can adjust your loadout in seconds.

✦ Keybinds & Controls

Each of the three slots is bound to a fixed key. [cite_start]By default, these are the keys R, G, and V [cite: 1467-1468]. You can completely rebind these in the normal Minecraft controls menu. If you want the first slot to be on "E," you set it to "E"—and the skill you drag into the first slot in the inventory will henceforth fire on "E." [cite_start]It's that simple [cite: 1467, 1548-1549].

✦ Combat HUD & Cooldowns

[cite_start]In the game, this action bar adheres as a compact overlay directly above your normal hotbar [cite: 181-182, 184].

  • [cite_start]Small letters show you the currently assigned key [cite: 194-195].
  • [cite_start]If you use a skill, the icon darkens, and a precise second countdown in the center shows you exactly when the ability is ready again [cite: 190-192].
